It's a major networking opportunity for many attendees, with some 2000 people expected at the show and 120 companies presenting their latest innovations, games and products.

There will be around 170 speakers at the conference, including Petri Ikonen, Creative Director at Electronic Arts, Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games, Wilhelm Taht, the Executive Vice President of Games at Angry Birds developer Rovio Entertainment and Clark Stacey, Co-Founder & CEO of Wildworks.

Four halls are given over to lectures, with specific focus on topics as diverse as funding, Virtual Reality, data and analytics, Sports and casinos, and game development.

With over 1,000 applicants, the Indie Prize Showcase awards the top games designers of the year, with 30 judges inviting the 120 finalists to the show. The prizes include scholarships and funding, while all finalists get to network with the top industry figures.

“We are thrilled to be back in Germany again and hosting Casual Connect in Berlin this year,” says Jessica Tams, Managing Director of Casual Games Association. “Attendees can look forward to a packed schedule with speakers from all over the world as well as discovering the talent Europe has to offer.”
