Former Revel Casino appoints Trump Taj Mahal executives

Frank Leone, who oversaw gaming operations at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, has been appointed senior vice president of casino operations.

Cindi LePine, who has served as director of hotel operations at Trump Taj Mahal, was named vice president of hotel operations.

Vincent Turrano, former president of food and beverage at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida, was named vice president of food and beverage.

The property has 13 restaurants, a 32,000- square- oot spa, 55,000 square feet of retail space and a parking garage with more than 7,000 spaces.

The more than 6-million-square-foot property received its temporary certificate of occupancy Oct. 18 and is applying for its mercantile license.

In August 2015, Polo North Country Club Inc., the company owned by Straub, bought the $2.4 billion Revel complex for $82 million in bankruptcy court.

Revel was one of four city casinos that closed in 2014. Despite being touted as the property that was going to turn around the city, Revel never turned a profit.
