Pennsylvania slot machine revenue down 3% in October

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its website Wednesday the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during October.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its website Wednesday the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during October.

According to the report, October gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos was $191,850,596, a 3% decrease in revenue when compared to the $197,874,759 generated in October 2015. Tax revenue in October of this year was $102,279,501.

Gross slot machine revenue for each of the casinos is as follows, with the percentage change reflected over the previous year:

The average number of slot machines operating on a daily basis at the 12 casinos was 26,632 during October 2016 compared to 26,229 at the casinos in October 2015.
