How do you asses this year's G2E edition? How did attendees react to your product lineup?
G2E was an extremely successful show for JCM. Attendees were very interested in our new FUZION technology, as well as our new GEN5 printer and the incredible range of digital displays we exhibited.
We were visited by operators from jurisdictions across North America, Latin America, and Europe.
““Yogonet readers may be particularly interested to know that we had very good conversations with operators and suppliers from Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Brasil, Peru, and the Dominican Republic
”
In an interview with Yogonet prior to the show, Tom Nieman anticipated you were going to introduce "a new product that will further boost operators to better connect with their customers." Did it work that way?
The response to our new FUZION technology was outstanding, and even better than we could have hoped for or predicted.Operators, suppliers, even media in attendance were praising the new technology as a breakthrough product.
FUZION is a collaborative technology and seamlessly works with suppliers’ casino management systems. The FUZION technology is transformative, bringing previously unimagined potential, flexibility and profitability to the casino floor.
““We believe FUZION has the potential to be as impactful to the gaming industry as the embedded bill validator did in the early 1990s
”
FUZION works in concert with the iVIZION bill validator, the new GEN5 printer, and the casino’s existing casino management system (CMS), and this combination has the potential to unleash many game-changing features – now and in the future.
With FUZION, each slot machine could become a multi-line profit center with the current potential to:
FUZION also includes mobile technology that allows smartphone transactional interface on legacy machines without picture-in-picture by enabling the player to connect with the game via smartphone through JCM’s Intelligent Bezel. This technology expands the FUZION potential to all types of slot machines.
SAGSE Buenos Aires will be the next meeting with Latin American operators and manufacturers. Given the new political scenario in Argentina, how do you see the market evolving this year?
We will leave the politics to the politicians. Suffice it to say, we remain very positive about Argentina as a market for JCM products. We will be in booth #200 at SAGSE, and we are excited to present the latest installment of our technical training as part of SAGSE. The date and time are to be determined; however, we will communicate that information with our customers as soon as it is available.
