How did G2E attendees react to your product lineup?
G2E was a very successful show for Scientific Games with great interest in our products. In our 21,094 square foot exhibit we showcased more than 200 games, 100 unique game themes, eight electronic table products, 14 utility products, 11 unique proprietary table games, five distinctive lottery products and our interactive solutions for operators including our 360-degree view of the SG Universe player solution.
Customers were excited about our groundbreaking PRIZM Game Table; our cutting-edge TwinStar J43 gaming platform with a 43-inch curved portrait display; exciting new brands SEINFELD and NATIONAL LAMPOON’S VACATION, and our award-winning SPACE INVADERS skill-based game. There was also a lot of excitement around our new content for the TwinStar cabinet, including our Lock It Link, Little Dragons and Golden Wheels games.
We also showcased our new iVIEW4 In-Game Display Manager solution and name-brand systems-based bonusing with MONOPOLY, CLUE and YAHTZEE.

What would you say were the highlights of this G2E edition?
““We were delighted about the quality of the show attendees and the number of customers who came to G2E from around the world
”
It was a terrific opportunity for us to connect with our customer-partners and give them a preview of our 2017 innovation and also share with them the outstanding products launching over the next two quarters.
We were thrilled that two of our most pioneering products won innovation awards for Best Table Product (PRIZM Game Table) and Best Slot Product (SPACE INVADERS). It was also exciting to see our SG Universe B2B solution for casino operators be recognized with a Gold Global Gaming Award for Land-Based Innovation of the Year by Gambling Insider.
So in summary, the highlights were productive meetings and great response from customers to our end-to-end solutions for the casino floor, and the recognition of our innovation through three prestigious awards.
How is this year going for the company? What is coming next?
2016 has been an exciting year for Scientific Games.
““Within the Gaming division, we continue to hold industry-leading positions in all the categories in which we operate, including electronic gaming machines, tables and systems
”
The response to our product portfolio has been extremely positive and we will look to build on that momentum.
As far as what is coming next, we will continue to focus on innovation and customer partnership. We are excited about new leadership under Chief Executive Officer and President Kevin Sheehan and his focus on continuing our momentum while taking the company to the next level.
What new markets are you going to pursue in the coming months?
As you know, Scientific Games is always looking to grow our business and expand into new legal and regulated jurisdictions worldwide. We have a global business development team that focuses solely on new market opportunities around the globe.
We are honored to provide our casino-management systems solutions along with a host of games and table products to the new Hollywood Casino Jamul near San Diego. We’ve been awarded contracts in New York’s new Class 3 commercial casino market with Tioga Downs Casino Racing & Entertainment as well as del Lago Resort Casino. And we are staying closely abreast of the expansion potential in Massachusetts.
““Latin America is a market we continue to watch closely
”
Our products have always done well in Argentina and we have seen significant improvement in activity there now that the import restrictions have been removed. Brazil is certainly on everyone’s radar as the country’s lawmakers look to legalize casino, bingo halls, online gaming and sports betting. We also expect to do well in other key markets throughout Mexico, Central America and South America.
Asia-Pacific is another exciting region, with casino developments and expansions in Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
With our broad product portfolio and vast global reach, we are well positioned to capitalize on new market opportunities as they come to fruition.
