Coral announces Q4 2016 results ahead of Ladbrokes merger

Ahead of its forthcoming merger with Ladbrokes, Coral published its Q4-2016 financial figures Thursday, detailing the twelve week period ended September 25 2016.

Ahead of its forthcoming merger with Ladbrokes, Coral published its Q4-2016 financial figures Thursday, detailing the twelve week period ended September 25 2016.

Financial figures include Coral Retail and Eurobet Retail and Online, but exclude Gala Retail.

Trading in the 12 week period was positive with total Coral Group net revenue 8.9 percent ahead of last year (YTD +11.3%), the company revealed in a statement.

Coral Retail net revenue grew 0.3 percent driven by an improvement in OTC gross win margin and machines growth, whilst Eurobet Retail net revenue was 31.2 percent ahead of last year, with strong growth in sports stakes.

Online operations delivered continued strong growth with net revenue 23.7 percent ahead of last year (YTD+28.3 percent) with Coral.co.uk net revenue 31.7 percent ahead driven by strong sports stakes growth.
