Pennsylvania table games revenue rises 4.3% in September

Gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during September was 4.35% higher than last year, according to figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during September was 4.35% higher than last year, according to figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

According to a report posted on the Board's website, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, September's gross table games revenue generated $68,787,147 or $2,870,275 more than in September 2015 when revenue totaled $65,916,872.

Total tax revenue from table games play during September was $11,143,191* with an average of 1,217 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis. Table games revenue is taxed at a rate of 16%.

Combined gross revenue from the play of both slot machines and table games during September 2016 was $260,937,476, up 2.9% compared to September of last year.
