How did G2E's audience react to Konami's Concerto video slot lineup?

When operators arrived to this year’s show, they encountered a complete array of the latest core product innovations, built with the quality and detail that Konami is known for around the world. Whatever the business challenges and objectives they have for the coming period, they have a stable, reliable outlook for Konami’s diverse product lineup and how they can leverage that for their current and future customer needs. With Concerto Slant, Concerto SeleXion multi-game, extra-tall Concerto Stack, and curved Concerto Crescent, it was really a lot to take in, but overwhelmingly, the response was outstanding.

You have recently installed the new Frogger themed slot machines at the San Manuel Casino Indian Bingo & Casino, US. Are there others installations scheduled for the coming months?

We also finalized our first installation in France. Players really enjoy the bonus free game reels, as well as the mystery-trigger Frogger bonus based on the classic road & river crossing course that everyone remembers. Konami has recently announced key promotions to senior leadership. What significance does this carry for customers or the gaming market as a whole?

From industry analysts to our long-term customers, we’re still hearing about aftermath of mergers and acquisitions that rocked the supplier sector more than two years ago. Since Konami Gaming first began, we’ve really maintained the same core executive team. And the new leadership promotions we announced just a few weeks ago were each the result of internal appointments from top tenured Konami team members. The people at Konami share a common focus to help drive the next great games and technology to market, and to do so with quality, service, and accountability. So that’s what we believe our customers can expect from us and our international distributors.

How is this year going for the company? What is coming next?

Over the past year, our original Concerto upright machine has achieved outstanding reception and performance. Our debut release themes have been incredibly strong and the cabinet itself has an amazing appeal. Now as we’re expanding Concerto to a collection of core product varieties, our sights are set on delivering that same success to customers across an array of new formats and new game titles. Everything from the SeleXion multi-game to the curved Crescent carries the proven core elements the standard upright cabinet and the power of our new KP3+ platform, for a variety of core video slot formats to leave no space unplayed.
