Century Casinos announced this week that the company has taken full ownership of the Apex Casino located in the Edmonton, Alberta suburb of St. Albert on October 1, 2016.

The casino has since been rebranded "Century Casino St. Albert" and is the latest addition to the company's portfolio in Alberta, being Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton, Century Casino Calgary and Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in North Calgary.

Century Casino St. Albert is operated pursuant to licenses issued by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC). The AGLC had approved the transaction in September and all other closing conditions had been met prior to October 1.

Century Casino St. Albert operates 382 slot machines and 11 live table games. It also features a restaurant, a bar, a lounge with a live entertainment stage and a banquet facility that can accommodate up to 175 guests. In addition, Century Casino St. Albert has 517 parking stalls.
