Ortiz Gaming has announced what the founder and chairman of the company Alejandro Ortiz called "a revolution in the development of Electronic Bingo": its reinvention.

"In fact, we are so excited about this innovation, I would like to explain the history of the evolution of electronic bingo, and how it came to this incredible moment, the history of electronic bingo, also known as Video Bingo", the Mr. Ortiz said in a personal written statement.

Following is the complete address written by Mr. Ortiz:

The natural progression of the game would inevitably lead to further modernization in the 21st century, and we are very proud that it could be Ortiz Gaming, once again, the company that presents the evolution of electronic bingo, or better said, the revolution.

The first electronic bingo machines with video screens were launched in the late 90's with CRT monitors 17 inches, years before introduction of touchscreen technology. These monitors were 4/3 proportion. In this game screen were placed bingo cards, prize tables, the ball drawing, the balls drawn, the Jackpot, and all the components of the game in this small screen.

By the late 90s, Ortiz Gaming had introduced 19 displays withtouchscreens technology. This was a big change, which quickly turned into market standard, but these 19 monitors continued to retained the4/3 proportions

As the technology evolved, the elements of the game, together with the bingo cards continued to be adjusted in the 4/3 proportions of the screen. Seeing this, we moved the progressive display to a separate screen at the top of the cabinets, gaining space on the screen for other elements of the game.

The next step in the evolution came naturally with the release of larger screens. There was increasing sizes of screens, but the 4/3 remained. The screens of games were changed in proportion, or rather "stretched" to adapt to new proportions of larger screens. Initially in the proportion of 16/10, and then, in a ratio of 16/9. But from the player's perspective very little changed. Companies in the industry maintained the same distribution of the old game screen, continuing to only "stretch" the elements of the game to the new ratio of larger monitors. The aspect of the game remained the same, only with the original game, stretched.

Similarly, the slot machine gaming screens have also grown in size: 22 inch, 24 inch, 27 inch, 32 inch, 42 inch, etc. The format of slot machines, 5 columns by 3 rows, has become the industry standard. Of course, this format has facilitated the growth of screens in the industry. The format of Slot Machines 5X3, and pretty much the same monitor ratio as the 16/9.

This increase in size of the screens of slot machines, allowed players to have a better visual comfort. Since slot manufactures were able to increase the size of the screen without losing the quality of the game.

Following in suit and adopting the larger monitors, and stretching the game electronic bingo did not the same effect on player eye-comfort. This is due to the electronic bingo manufacturers copying the 4/3 format of the original games, for larger screens 16/9, adapting the format of the old screens, simply "stretching" the elements to adapt to the new format.

Unfortunately, the increase in screens has been a problem for electronicbingo players. There is a limit to the size of screen from theeye-comfort aspect

With increasing size of the monitors there is lost in sensation eye-player comfort. The original bingo game on the 19 "monitor with 4/3 ratio had a great sense of eye-comfort. That's why there are many electronic bingo machines still in this format, even with the appearance of the video bingo machines with screens and larger format "stretched." in fact, we found that bingo electronic larger screens, had the opposite effect than expected; by increasing the size of the screens of electronic bingo, there was a decrease in time-in-chair.

In the past, video bingo had an impressive growth over slot machines, but something has changed with time. The machines Slot Machines continued to grow, but the electronic bingo stopped maintaining this same growth. And I wonder why.

This question can be answered simply by placing screens of both types of games side by side. The slot machines with the Electronic bingo. One can clearly see that the slot game has adapted perfectly to the screen where the video bingo has not adapted in the same manner. The slot game machine completes the game in full screen while the video Bingo has
spaces in unused side.

We started thinking about this dilemma: Electronic Bingo must becompetitive on large screens, and at the same comfortable, also pleasant to the feel of the players

It was obvious that "stretching" the original game screen of the 90's would not be the solution. We needed to create, we needed to innovate and we should reinvent.

And today, Ortiz Gaming is very proud to say that we, the reinventedElectronic Bingo. How did we do it? Like all great ideas of mankind, with something verysimple, but it really changes everything

We kept the original look of success Electronic Bingo in 4/3 format, keeping the bingo cards in the center of the screen, where the emotion of the game is, but all other elements of the game were moved to the side of the screen. With no "stretched" elements, simply redesigned screens, and re-positioned elements. It's a simple idea, but totally revolutionary.

The Genius is in keeping eye-player comfort feeling where it is really needed. The player's attention can focus on the bingo cards and the drawing of the balls. Growth in the size of monitors ceases to be a big problem and has now become the solution!

But we do not stop. We are at the forefront of this revolution, introducing larger monitors, bringing to market a 42” 4K resolution
display. This is our best distribution of a game play screen, allowing a number of improvements such as bonuses and other additional innovations, never seen in the video bingo world.

Again Ortiz Gaming announces with pride, innovation that changes the electronic bingo base itself. As at the beginning of electronic bingo, Ortiz Gaming introduces a revolution, which, once again, will become the industry standard.

Creation of new industry standards is in our DNA; It has been the basis of our business since its inception, more than two decades ago. We analyze trends and creating innovations that appeal to players. We are really very excited about the pleasure we can offer players, which is ultimately what really matters.

And I must say that this is just the beginning of a new electronic bingo stage. With this simple idea, but revolutionary one, we opened a new chapter in the history of video bingo evolution around the world.
