Kilmer serves as one of the recipients of this year's coveted Patty Becker Pay It Forward Award, created by industry leader and gaming executive Patty Becker and given annually at Kick Up Your Heels. To beconsidered for the award, the honoree must have contributed to her community, Global Gaming Women, and acted as a role model for other women in the gaming industry - representing Global Gaming Women's three core values: courage, integrity and leadership.
Global Gaming Women is dedicated to the support, development and success of women in the international gaming industry. The organization brings women together from all segments of gaming to enrich their professional and personal lives through education, mentorship and networking opportunities. Kick Up Your Heels is a fundraiser for the Global Gaming Women Charitable Education Fund, which provides educational scholarships for women in the gaming industry.

Under her leadership, Global Gaming Women programs were created for the casino gaming industry's major industry conference and trade shows, including G2E, ICE Totally Gaming, and the National Indian Gaming Association's annual event.

Kilmer serves as Vice President of Product Compliance for Scientific Games. With more than 17 years of technical leadership in the gaming industry, she is responsible for global regulatory management and technical compliance of advanced technology-based gaming devices and systems, table game products, as well as mobile solutions.
Kilmer has been registered as a Professional Engineer since 1987 and is active in the Society of Women Engineers, where she mentors aspiring female engineering students and women engineers.
