Excited about displaying new products at this year's G2E Las Vegas event, SUZOHAPP officials Tom Orton and Marriell Martinez told Yogonet that the company is “focusing our efforts into developing products that will answer” demands by the Generation Y.

What will be the highlights of the 2016 G2E Vegas and why?

SUZOHAPP will be focusing on displaying the following product categories at G2E this year:

  • Interactive Gaming Products, SUZOHAPP will show pioneer products like a Skill-Based Game Controller for the highly anticipated GameCo Machine. Picture Key Technology buttons will also be available at SUZOHAPP’s booth. This is where the casino gaming industry is headed and SUZOHAPP in making sure that our customers can integrate our skill-based products seamlessly.
  • Casino Components and OEM gaming Solutions, we will have new toppers on display at the show like the SH1950 that is customizable to adapt to any machine. We will also be launching our DualPro and SoloPro cabinets at G2E. These are our pre-fabricated cabinets that a content developer can utilize to add content via game boards and have a game-ready for launch. We will also have our VisionPro LCD’s on display at the booth.
  • Finally, SUZOHAPP will be launching CashComplete™, our Cash management solution to help any organization streamline their cash handling on different levels of usage. Cash Management solutions can increase profitability by automating cash handling and simplifying operations. We will have different ranges of products on display from desktop units to our robust recycling solutions.

What are operators most concerned about these days?

We believe operators still go back to the basics. They want to make sure that their patrons have the best customer experience since a big portion of profitability emanates from that. They want to make sure all machines and tables on the floor are working at high capacity and being able to supply the needs of their customers. At SUZOHAPP, we try to anticipate those needs and adapt to the higher service levels that operators require.

The gambling industry in the U.S. is going through a period of transition shaped by a range of factors, some of which have their roots within the country, while others are related to the natural affairs of the international scenario. How would you describe the current state of gambling? What does the future have in store for the sector?

With the population of US Casino customers transitioning from the “baby boomer” market to the millennials, it is imperative that Casino operators, manufacturers and distributors understand the need to cater to new patrons.

At SUZOHAPP, we have started focusing our efforts into developing products that will answer that change

Products like PKT buttons, skill-based controllers, and Aura smash buttons are items we are pioneering in the gaming market.

In a recent interview granted to Yogonet, a Pennsylvania official who's pushing to legalize online gambling in the Keystone State, said: “Sometime in the future, I see the U.S. being similar to Europe”. In your opinion, why is it taking so long for the U.S. to allow for gambling expansion in all its forms?

It is our opinion that until online privacy and security is controlled at maximum level, online gaming in the US is still going to be where it is today and far from how the European market has embraced it.

Considering that non-gaming has, over the last years, become an effective revenue driver for casinos, what are the main challenges facing the industry?

The biggest challenge and the biggest opportunity is making sure that the industry understands the new trends that drive our audience and how to correctly and timely answer those needs. With the target audience changing, games and how they are delivered need to be updated to how the new patrons want them to be.
