Why is the G2E Las Vegas a good fit for your company?

It has undoubtedly been among the three most important gaming exhibitions in the industry for a very long time, located in the gaming mecca, where all the important gaming manufacturers are present. Furthermore it is an important part of our campaign in the US, which has returned important results in the last couple of years.

What can visitors expect to see from you this year? Will you be launching any new products - others than the ones you've already introduced at other industry events such as ICE Totally Gaming?

There will be a combination of both: the biggest anticipation is for the completely new Roulette cabinet, that represents quite a radical design change, compared to the existing R8, that has become a true classic on the casino floors worldwide and set the benchmark for all competitors. The modern, compact solution paired with familiar user interface and the highest quality standards will provide a valid alternative to venues that cannot accommodate the bigger version. Visitors will have a chance to experience the new live/electronic Roulette cylinder, that is now ready to enter production and represents the company's vision of the game evolution and possible applications. The attractive exterior features have been sculpted by a 25 year experience, guaranteeing beauty, longevity and ultimate performance. These are just two highlights, there will be more surprises at our booth.

What will be the highlights of the 2016 G2E Vegas and why?

Everybody brings their most attractive solutions to the show, so we are expecting a very entertaining show this year, considering that apart from our own Royal Derby platform introduction, there haven't been many significant evolutions among the gaming machines. There are interesting possibility of intertwining the online gaming solutions with casino machines, an area in which we have invested a lot of resources, and provide our clients with an accomplished solution.

What are operators most concerned about these days?

Essentially it is always the same, everybody tries to provide the best solution for the client, considering the latest advances in technology, cost effectiveness and possibilities of future implementation. We don't expect any revolutions, the producers are trying to evolve their products gradually.

The gambling industry in the U.S. is going through a period of transition shaped by a range of factors, some of which have their roots within the country, while others are related to the natural affairs of the international scenario. How would you describe the current state of gambling? What does the future have in store for the sector?

The current state of gaming is not bad at all, but as with most things, there's always room for improvement.

In a recent interview granted to Yogonet, a Pennsylvania official who's pushing to legalize online gambling in the Keystone State, said: “Sometime in the future, I see the U.S. being similar to Europe”. In your opinion, why is it taking so long for the U.S. to allow for gambling expansion in all its forms?

As already mentioned, it is a big market facing an important process that has to balance several requirements in order to evolve. For us producers it is the matter of providing the best solutions for our partners, regardless of the outside factors.
