“The AGE has been great for keeping in touch with the hospitality industry and keeping up to date with where the industry is moving,” said Brett Delaney, General Manager of Big Screen Video.

“We’ve been noticing a growing knowledge of LED screens, attendees understand the product and its purpose now, and it’s really inspiring to see our product provide genuine value to our clients.”

“Our team sees great value in this trade show, not only for the new leads that come in every year but also for the chance to catch up with existing clients and hear their success stories,” Delaney continued.

“This year there seems to be a huge focus on investing in the venues, with so many publicans talking to us about their renovations.”

The company released a statement commenting on its experience at this year's AGE show:

"Big Screen Video are long standing exhibitors at the AGE, it being a landmark event in their diary every year. As Australia’s most trusted supplier of LED screens, signs, scoreboards and billboards, Big Screen Video are in the business of supplying a product that will grow revenue and activate spaces. Time is only telling them that the need is growing.

"Big Screen Video LED screens are designed to provide a stadium-like experience in venues, they aim to get people off the couch and into pubs to watch the game. The formula works, big screens = big crowds and the evidence was there at AGE this year. With the Olympics streaming on the big screens for the entire trade show, every main event was gathering crowds of up to 50 people cheering on the Aussie’s for gold.

"Competition in the hospitality industry is fierce and it appears all publicans are in the fight to constantly improve and bring more people through their doors.

"Through product selection at the show, it was clear that interest is moving towards finer, higher resolution pixel pitches such as the 2.6mm and 3.2mm. They’re also seeing a growing need for digital signage solutions as an alternative to traditional print mediums.
The team at Big Screen Video are looking forward to an even bigger year at the newly redeveloped location – the International Convention Centre Sydney in 2017.
