The film, scripted by Andrea Berloff and Nicolas Saada, tells the story of a cop with a connection to the criminal underworld. He finds his secret life exposed; scouring a nightclub for his kidnapped son.
These scenes were shot in Atlanta, Georgia. Rye Park Gaming and Eclipse Gaming Systems were instrumental in creating the look of a fully functioning casino where several of the film's scenes take place. Rye Park Gaming was responsible for the delivery and installation of over twenty blackjack tables, four roulette tables, four crap tables, custom table layouts, hardware and accessories.
Hollywood has always done an excellent job at communicating the lure of the nightclub and casino. Las Vegas turned into a respectable tourism destination because of Sinatra’s Rat Pack. The original Ocean’s Eleven was filmed at the Sahara, Sands and Flamingo casinos. They've also provided the backdrop for mob films including Bugsy and Casino.
"Casino's in film have checkered history. And movies remain a strong market. We look forward to sourcing more of our designs and products in the industry, providing engaging and blockbuster content," said Randy Ying, President, Rye Park Gaming. "The film's crew and our team were able to create an amazing set for this movie."
