The first day began yesterday at 11 a.m. with a series of conferencies, and then continued with the exhibition, which concluded at 8 p.m. With an important public attendance on the inaugural day, the new PGS edition showed a consolidated image, which also reflects a healthy Peruvian market. At the pavilion, located at Jockey Plaza Exhibition Center, each company achieved to hire large spaces to exhibit machines and novelties, and they also showcased a remarkable production on booth design, such as Scientific Games, Merkur, Novomatic, DLV, EGT, Casino Technology, Aristocrat and IGT.
On the other hand, we can see a growing presence of firms from the Igaming sector at regional events, which are also present here in Lima. Among them, we can name BetConstruct, Sirplay, SolutionBet, SpinGol, Jazz Gaming Solutions, Betradar and GlobalBet. Regarding the first day, Joe Lopez and Rubén Solórzano, from Affiliated Marketing Group (AMG), and who are in charge of PGS, showed their satisfaction with the result. “We saw the reflection of a consolidated show, with totally full spaces, both at the exhibition and at the conferences,” they pointed. Organizers also commented about the growth of an event that already goes beyond the Peruvian limits. “A few years ago, PGS was a local event, but now we can point that the event is for the whole Latin America. We started with a 2,500 sqm space and reached 6,500 sqm. This year we have a 6,000 sqm space occupied. The reduction is due to the great number of mergers that have taken place in the industry, however, the sustained growth of the show itself positions us differently year after year. Nowadays, we target Latin America. All the Latin American markets put their attention on PGS thanks to the work of the whole AMG team,” assured Rubén Solórzano.
Besides, Joe López added: “We don`t forget to serve the Peruvian market, which has brought us here.” PGS proposal will continue today from 11 a.m., with the conferences and a training event organized by JCM Global at 3.30 p.m. Joe López commented on the matter: “In my opinion, the events targeted to technicians do not take public away from the show. On the contrary, they offer a service to operators and manufacturers, who learn to take advantage of the products.”
The exhibiting area will open its doors today at 2 p.m., on the second and final day of PGS 2016.
