Pinnacle representatives have announced that the company was about to apply for a license that would enable it to provide its services on the territory of the United Kingdom.

According to the initial plan, the application is to be submitted in Q4 of 2016.

Pinnacle officials confirmed that the presence on the UK gambling market was of paramount priority for every company. However, obtaining a license from the UK Gambling Commission required the applicants to comply with certain rules and regulations and do some extra work.

Back in September 2014, Pinnacle left the UK gambling market due to the legislative changes that required each foreign operator to obtain a license from the UK Gambling Commission. Now, the company is committed to the idea of regaining its positions in the UK gambling sector.

Pinnacle, which currently holds a license, issued by Curacao gambling authorities, is expected to quickly reacquire its former positions despite the rivalry it will have to face.

Apart from earning a new license, Q4 of 2016 can be remarkable for Pinnacle as there is a chance a native mobile app to be launched by the end of the year.

Along with the announcement for a UK license application, Pinnacle has recently made the headlines with the re-branding process it went through. A few days ago, Pinnacle dropped “Sports” from its name with the aim of emphasizing on its expansion and multiple online gambling channels it provides its customers with.

Now, the brand is called just Pinnacle. The logo was also changed. The main objective of Pinnacle is to increase its popularity among European players by offering a wide array of sports betting options, a user-friendly website, and convenient mobile apps.

Pinnacle officials consider the latest changes “natural” given the fact that the brand is well-known and it needed to be refreshed and made compatible with the rapid growth of the betting verticals offered beyond sportsbook. In addition, the opportunity for acquiring a Pinnacle.com domain was not to be missed.
