Pennsylvania slot machine revenue down 1.1% in May

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site the monthly report for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during May.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site the monthly report for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during May.

According to the report, gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos fell 1.1% in May of this year to $208,852,793 compared to the $211,219,909 of gross revenue in May 2015. Tax revenue in May of this year was $111,448,220.

The average number of slot machines operating throughout Pennsylvania was 26,634 in May 2016 compared to 26,382 in May 2015.
