Plainridge Park Casino has reported a slight decrease in revenues for the month of April, though per day and per machine revenue showed an actual increase.

April earnings were lower, with the casino venue stating the one less day in April was to blame. Revenues increased on a per day basis due to the harness horse racing expansion for the venue.

 

According to Lance George, the General Manager of Plainridge Park Casino, the venue is continuing to focus efforts on refining the marketing aspects of the business and look forward to the expanded racing season

The gaming facility was able to earn $13,306,466 from the 1,250 slot machines located on the gaming floor which is slightly lesser than the $13,496,232 earned in March for the games. Revenue for the facility have been yo-yoing since the casino first opened back in June.

The highest monthly totals for Plainridge Park took place in July of last year, just one month after opening. The venue would earn just over $18 million. The low point came in December of last year when $11.2 million was earned. Now it seems the venue has seen a slight decline for two months running.

According to Lance George, the General Manager of Plainridge Park Casino, the venue is continuing to focus efforts on refining the marketing aspects of the business and look forward to the expanded racing season.
