American Gaming Association (AGA) President and CEO, Geoff Freeman, will present the AGA’s campaign that seeks a new approach to legalized and licensed sports betting across the United States at the iGaming Executive Conference in Amsterdam on June 8.

In a major shift last November following months of study and deliberation by AGA and its members, the casino gaming industry announced its intent to study the implications of current law and to build a coalition to determine if rational, legal alternatives exist.

In the large and growing illegal sports betting market, consumer protections are non-existent and law enforcement lack tools to protect the integrity of games.

The iGaming Executive Conference operates a policy of approved guest attendance, and thus provides an opportunity for the industry leadership to speak frankly in a non-public forum.

Freeman will present the problem with the current situation and the AGA’s campaign to find a solution to a select group of iGaming CEOs at the iGaming Executive Conference at the iGaming Super Show in Amsterdam (June 8th), where he will engage in dialogue with key executives from the global regulated iGaming community.

According to Freeman: “Sports betting has never been more popular in America than it is today. The illegal sports betting market is running rampant. AGA is leading the conversation around a new approach to sports betting that enhances consumer protections, strengthens the integrity of games and recognizes fans’ desire for greater engagement with sports.”

Co-located at the world’s largest iGaming event, the iGaming Super Show, the iGaming Executive Conference is the premier gathering of leading global iGaming CEOs. This unique conference provides a unique “think tank” environment for CEOs, COOs and CTOs in the industry, where frank discussion and inspirational TED-like sessions facilitate the progression of the interactive gaming industry and promote an environment conducive to contemplating the long-term development of the sector.

The iGaming Executive Conference operates a policy of approved guest attendance, and thus provides an opportunity for the industry leadership to speak frankly in a non-public forum.

The iGaming Super Show will take place on June 7-10 at the RAI in Amsterdam.
