Gross gaming revenue, or the amount of money taken in, minus winnings paid out, sat at $13.49 million for March. That was $826,554 more than February.

Revenue has increased three straight months at the slots parlor on Route 1, the state's first casino, reversing a decline last fall and winter.
Plainridge also is paying out more in winnings than in previous months. It paid 92.5% of its revenue in winnings last month, compared with a low of 89.8 percent in July.
The state, however, continues to benefit from legalized gambling, with more casinos in the works.
Plainridge has paid $50.7 million to the state from a 40 percent tax on slot machines and another $11.4 million to a horse racing fund from an extra 9 percent tax.
In addition to slot machines, Plainridge is a harness horse racing track, and racing resumed last week for the season.
