The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is joining the Meetings Mean Business coalition in celebrating Global Meetings Industry Day.

The event will be held on April 14, 2 p.m at T-Mobile Arena, 3780 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

Global Meetings Industry Day showcases the impact that business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions have on the community. The Las Vegas meetings industry supports 66,500 jobs and generates more than $9.3 billion to the local economy.

To celebrate this day, Roger Dow, President and CEO of U.S. Travel Association will deliver a keynote address about the industry.

The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion featuring industry leaders from MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, Wynn Resorts, The Venetian and The Palazzo, and the LVCVA.

Roger Dow, President and CEO, U.S. Travel Association; Chuck Bowling, President and COO, Mandalay Bay; Michael Massari, Senior Vice President for National Meetings and Events, Caesars Entertainment; Chandra Allison, Vice President of Sales, The Venetian and The Palazzo; Chris Flatt, Executive Vice president of Hotel Sales and Marketing, Wynn Resorts; Rossi Ralenkotter, President and CEO, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority will be present.
