Pennsylvania slot machine revenue up in March

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site the monthly report for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during March.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site the monthly report for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during March.

According to the report, gross revenue this past month from the play of slot machines at the 12 casinos was approximately $3.5 million above gross revenue in March of 2015, an increase of 1.7%. Tax revenue in March of this year was $112,846,773.

The average number of slot machines operating throughout Pennsylvania was 26,415 in March 2016 compared to 26,336 in March 2015.
