After a successful experience at ICE 2016, JCM's Payam Zadeh granted Yogonet an interview. "The response from operators to ourTableXchange Plus was very positive," he said.

How did the 2016 ICE turn out for JCM?

ICE was an excellent show for JCM Global, perhaps our strongest yet. ICE afforded us an opportunity to meet with existing and new clients from that region, and from around the world. Attendees were very interested in our products – bill validation, printing, service and systems – and we had a very strong introduction of our new TableXchange Plus product.

What were the most discussed trends at the show?

New technologies were on display in every corner of the tradeshow, and that is always very exciting for the industry. However, for JCM’s line of business, we remember that a trend of new technologies also mean counterfeiters and cheats are also using new technologies. That is why we are constantly improving our bill validators to stay ahead of criminals and to help casinos protect their operations, and we are always willing to follow market needs.

How has the growth of iGaming influenced the development of the London exhibition?

Attendees were very interested in our new TableXchange Plus product. TableXchange Plus brings an important layer of security in note validation, and an optional TITO module to live tables of all kinds. Additionally, cash management and tracking is now much more accurate, is faster, and more secure with a smart cash box.

We formally introduced TableXchange Plus at ICE and the response from operators was very positive. We are enthusiastic about this new product and its potential to bring better, smarter, faster validation to the table environment. As a bit of background on JCM’s experience in this area, JCM has been developing bill validation for table games for a few years. Our iV8 product, for example, was developed for the incredibly high volume table market in Macau. The success with that product was its ability to scan, validate, and stack a brick of notes in 8 seconds, tremendously reducing the buy-in time and enabling more games per hour.

The industry’s challenge, however, is that all over the world, notes are handed over at the table without any validation, leaving a huge chink in the armor of a casino’s security. Now we have taken what we learned with iV8 and with what we know from our long history in validation at the slot machine and are bringing it to all sorts of tables, not just those with extremely high volume. Attendees were also very interested in our post-production TITO solution Ticket2Go, which already has a large deployment throughout the UK.

What happened after the conclusion of ICE? Are you seeing results yet?

We are fortunate that business for JCM has been very stable, and we continue to sign preferred supplier agreements with casinos across the EMEA region. That said, we are always innovating and thinking about tomorrow – how can we help our customers do business better, smarter, and faster while also staying ahead of counterfeiters and other criminals, which is why we will work and cooperate with our customers and continue the conversations and follow up the good meetings we had at ICE.

JCM Global is always searching for new opportunities and new markets. Because JCM is one of the world’s market leaders in gaming, we always have an eye and ear to the market and listen to our customers in order to identify the market requirements even before there is the desire. We strive to always be two steps ahead of the industry with our innovations.
