Ganlot's Olive Chuang kindly sat down with us to share her experience at the 2016 ICE exhibition.

Who is the player of the future? How would you describe them? What are their characteristics? How are you adapting your product offering to cater to this new type of player?

Players create and decide which the trends within the gaming industry are, for they lead the market. The player of the future is one who is eager to try new technologies. He may not know much about either the design or the technology itself but one thing is for sure: he enjoys high technology. This is why the innovation behind I-Gaming appeals to so many. In the future, land-based games will surely have to be combined with onlline games.

Ganlot, as an innovative gaming solutions provider, has invested a lot to bring the online gaming concept to its future developments, and expects to come up with new ideas to create new products and serve our customers.

With the aim to be at the forefront, Ganlot started - back in 2015 - to integrate different technologies into its products and solutions.

At the recent ICE show, we received tremendous feedback from both our customers and friends, which proves we're on the right path. So we will continue to do what we do best in order to bring new ideas to the gaming arena soon.

Mobile and online gaming, once synonymous with innovation, have become common currency. What new ways of innovating will the industry see in the coming years?

Current land-based and server-based gaming machines will eventually be compatible with online gaming designs and games. This combination wil bring even more benefits and profits to the casino floors.

The buzz word will be omni-channel. Many providers have been studying the omni-channel concept and have designed different softwares and games taking into consideration the omni-channel concept. Customers have asked us to help them achieve compatibility between land-based, online and mobile gaming.

Apart from a strong presence of both eSports and omni-channel gaming, what were the highlights of ICE 2016?

ICE visitors were surprised to see several new products of eSports and Omni-channel gaming. This year, the international tradeshow saw a wider variety of products with higher resolution, more smoothly and beautiful game animations -even the cabinets had customized designs and themes-.

At London exhibition, we showcased a wide range of brand new products that were designed to meet every customer's needs. Our highlight was the Gaming Mixer of Output, GMO-1910, which is for video, audio and touch mixing technology. Casino operators are seeking for more smoothly ways to process the mixing technology, which is why they placed great interest in Ganlot's GMO-1910. The overall reaction to our products was very positive.

How do you assess your participation in the 2016 edition of ICE? What feedback did you receive from European attendees?

ICE is the most important gaming tradeshow in Europe. We attend the show every year to meet new partners, catch up with old friends, get to know the market trends and discover new ideas. Many of our business and cooperative relationships have been built up there.

Attendees were delightfully surprised to see Ganlot’s full innovations in both concept and design, which are suitable to meet their unique requirements for slot machines, VLTs, AWP, Arcades, Bingos, Lotteries, Gaming Service Window and many other applications. Our participation in the show was a busy and rewarding one.

We're now focusing on the upcoming shows: Asia Macau Show in May and the G2E in Las Vegas. We can't wait to share our ideas with the world!
