Konami Gaming, Inc.’s new Concerto video slot garnered enthusiasm and excitement from international casino operators during the recent ICE Totally Gaming show. Guests saw original Concerto debut themes such as Chili Chili Fire and Dragon’s Law Twin Fever displayed on the largest screen size available in a standard upright machine—complete with HD resolution, enhanced sound, and a video LCD button panel.

This year’s ICE show also marked the international release of Konami’s Dungeons & Dragons themed slot machines, with a variety of custom merchandising options to showcase this legendary adventure game. In addition, guests were able to play the world’s first Frogger themed slot machine, based upon the unforgettable arcade favorite.

One of biggest announcements of ICE 2016 was the release of Konami’s new video slot cabinet: Concerto. Developed with intent focus on customer experience and entertainment value, this video upright cabinet combines top-tier technology for operators to deliver next generation gaming content that attracts patrons from every angle. Its signature holographic side lighting serves as one of Concerto’s most striking features. Each game has custom-designed digital elements that visually interact, from the dual 27” high-definition touchscreen monitors to the 19.5” video topper, and down through the proprietary new DynamicDash button panel—all of which is made possible by Konami’s new KP3+ platform. Concerto additionally supports compatibility with most KP3 platform proven performers such as Dragon’s Law and China Shores.

Dragon’s Law Twin Fever
Dragon’s Law Twin Fever is one of Concerto’s KP3+ international debut themes. Players will see double as Konami’s popular Dragon’s Law character pairs up with a blue dragon counterpart for double the excitement. Similar to the top-performing original, Dragon’s Law Twin Fever features a random bonus during primary play that allows the flying dragon characters to swoop down to the bottom reel strips to scatter additional wild symbols.

Chili Chili Fire
Konami introduces a measure of festive flavor to its Concerto launch with a 5-reel game called Chili Chili Fire. Randomly after any spin, the Fade Away bonus feature ignites & eliminates all card symbols appearing on reels until only high-value picture symbols are shown. In addition, Chili Chili Fire’s Fade Away feature can occur more frequently during the free games.

Konami’s new Dungeons & Dragons video slots celebrate the series’ international launch with two rich fantasy themes: Enchanted Riches and Conquests & Treasures. Dungeons & Dragons offers a variety of merchandizing options, including logoed premium chairs, themed bezel complete with glowing runes, faux stone design elements, hand painted 3D dragon toppers and a variety of sign packages including one with a large rotating red dragon.

Enchanted Riches
Enchanted Riches is a 5-reel game headlined by a majestic sun elf character. Any three or more Dungeons & Dragons symbols trigger the Dungeon Master Feature, where players have the chance to spin an extra-tall prize wheel for a chance at free games or a progressive jackpot. In addition, during the free game campaign, players can unlock additional reel sets in the upper top box for more potential wins as new D&D characters join their party.

Conquests & Treasures
Conquests & Treasures is Konami’s compliment debut release theme to Enchanted Riches. During the game’s Dungeons & Dragons progressive feature, players have the chance to match sets of 12-sided colored die to determine one of four jackpot awards in a pick ‘em style bonus experience. As with Enchanted Riches, Conquests & Treasures includes obscured Action Stacked Symbols throughout primary play and the free game feature.

This year also marked the ICE debut of the industry’s first Frogger themed video slots, showcased on Konami’s Podium Monument cabinet. The launch of Frogger signifies a landmark IP release from Konami Digital Entertainment’s iconic arcade legacy to its casino gambling sector. Two debut game themes were displayed, each with a 4-level standalone progressive. Both themes feature classic Konami game mechanics such as Action Stacked Symbols and Xtra Reward.

Great City Wilds
Great City Wilds is one of two series debut themes. During the random Frogger Bonus, arcade-animated tractors push away the reels, revealing a classic Frogger crossing course. Three “lives” are awarded and the player has a chance to watch the frog character hop its way to increasing bonus awards across the lower screen and up into the tall top box.

Woodland Wilds
Similar to Great City Wilds, Woodland Wilds also includes a classic Frogger rendition during the bonus game, but its primary character is a bedazzled girl frog. Players can win up to 20 free games, where 2 additional reel sets are added on the top screen. Any full-reel wild symbols appearing on the upper-most set of reels are copied across the rest of the upper screen.

Konami’s Rapid Revolver video-mechanical hybrid machine has become a tour de force at casinos across the globe and a must-have for operators. In lieu of the upper LCD screen, Rapid Revolver takes a unique spin on classic mechanical reels by mounting six stacked and vertically-mounted drums on its oversized top box, surrounded by synchronized high-impact sound and lighting. Guests at ICE 2016 witnessed an all-new custom game called Prophetess of Fortune, as well as a beautifully-designed standalone progressive that can be combined with most any KP3 base game on the lower screen.

Prophetess of Fortune
Prophetess of Fortune is Konami’s newest Rapid Revolver game and showcases brilliant Asian art styles. Similar to previous releases Rising Dragon and Northern Treasure, Prophetess of Fortune uses the lighted upper drums for high-entertainment and effect in the bonus feature but adds a new multiplier mechanic that boosts wins up to 100x. It also includes a free game feature and a mystery trigger 2-level standalone progressive.

Fortune Sticks (SAP)
Fortune Sticks is Konami’s first standalone progressive game for Rapid Revolver that can be combined with most any KP3 base game on the lower screen, such as Riches with Daikoku, Lotus Land, and China Shores. It is a mystery trigger bonus that transports the player to an animated fortune telling game reminiscent of the Chinese Kau Cim, whereby engraved sticks are selected from a tall bucket to reveal hidden messages. Lower video reels activate the upper mechanical drums and assign random multipliers for unforgettable wins.

Quickly gaining record placement across the globe, Konami’s unique SeleXion multi-game cabinet switches instantaneously between games, denominations and languages, even down to its dynamic button panel. Operators can choose from an ever-increasing array of available KP3 themes to custom-configure which games they would like to feature on each SeleXion multi-game, and at this year’s ICE show Konami demonstrated two new linked progressive games that can be added across a bank of multi-game machines.

Lion’s Reward (LAP)
Konami’s newest linked progressive is a 4-level mystery trigger game with a fascinating attract-mode animation to awaken the interest and imagination of casino patrons. Lion’s Reward is highly operator configurable, and when displayed in combination with SeleXion the game’s Chinese Lion Dance character brings an added display of fortune and festivity.

Genie’s Power (LAP)
Genie’s Power is a 7-level linked progressive product available for international markets with 4 different bonus feature games that can be triggered randomly. Compatible with the SeleXion multi-game, Genie’s Power improves on the standard mystery link progressive with engaging interactive bonus features.

With its colossal sound, 360-degree attract lighting, and huge 32” dual high-definition LCD display, Konami’s big-screen Podium Goliath is populating more floor space than ever at casinos worldwide. During ICE 2016, Konami showcased the exclusive international release of its SeleXion multi-game on the Goliath cabinet. A variety of eye-catching base game and progressive game themes were also shown including Eyes of Riches and Jackpot Streams.

SeleXion
Konami is releasing its leading-class SeleXion multi-game on Podium Goliath for the first time, exclusively for international jurisdictions. Operators can feature a combination of proven KP3 games and deliver a premium slot experience to patrons using popular Konami titles they know and enjoy.

Jackpot Streams (SAP)
Konami’s Jackpot Streams 4-level standalone progressive will be a featured game on Goliath. It is a virtual coin-pusher style game that pushes different jackpot awards towards the player in the form of brightly-colored tokens. Jackpot Streams is compatible with most any KP3 base game that doesn’t require the upper top box, empowering operators with the greatest flexibility and optimization.

Konami presented a number of new international games on its tall-top Podium Monument cabinet. Each Monument game is accompanied by an internally-lit, eye-catching custom bezel to help accent and enhance the cabinet’s 32” vertically-mounted upper LCD. Konami continues to add a variety of exciting standalone progressive options that combine excellently with most any KP3 video base game on the lower screen. This allows operators to pair some their most popular Konami video slots with an exciting mystery progressive.

Engine Ablaze (SAP)
One of Konami’s newest standalone progressive games for Podium Monument is Engine Ablaze. This high-octane 4-level mystery progressive has an auto-inspired look and feel with motors, tailpipes and flames to interest raceway fans and casual cruisers alike, artfully depicted across the machine’s 32” high-definition display.

Hammer Festival (SAP)
In true Born from fun fashion, Konami’s Hammer Festival progressive spotlights a hammer-welding Amazonian monkey who knocks blocks from a colored stack of increasing cash prizes. In this unique 1-level mystery progressive, the monkey swings his hammer to reach the jackpot while his displayed stamina gauge dwindles accordingly, booted only by specially-placed banana energy bunches. Hammer Festival is compatible with any KP3 platform game that doesn’t require a top-box display.

Rock Around the Clock Wailin’ Wilds
Rock Around the Clock Wailin’ Wilds is an up-tempo 50’s-themed game features nostalgic art design and animation with a 2-level standalone progressive. Bonus features give players the change to access additional reel areas across the machine’s upper top box. Wailin’ Wilds also includes Action Stacked Symbols, Xtra Reward, and a gigantic symbol feature.
