The Nevada Gaming Control Board said Friday that the state’s casinos won $11.1 billion last calendar year. Slot machines accounted for 63 percent of that.
Las Vegas Strip gambling revenue in 2015 fell less than 1% compared with 2014 and totaled about USD 6.3M. Downtown Las Vegas casino revenue was up about 6 percent last year to USD 542M.
Reno casinos saw a gain of about 3% and won USD 571M last year.
Nevada gambling revenue has remained relatively flat since 2009, and hasn’t rebounded to peak levels seen in 2007.
