OpenBet has renewed its license, development and support agreements with Sky Betting & Gaming.

OpenBet will continue to provide Sky Betting & Gaming with its online and mobile sports betting platform for a further five years.

The operator has full independence to innovate and differentiate by building its own customer interfaces on the OpenBet platform.

This partnership has allowed the two firms to build on key strengths and enabled record performance for Sky Betting & Gaming.

The deal extends the companies’ long-term relationship. OpenBet has supplied the Leeds-based operator since it was formed in 2001.

Richard Flint, Chief Executive of Sky Betting & Gaming, said: “OpenBet has been an integral component of our business since day one. Against ever-changing regulatory frameworks and fast-moving technological developments they continue to deliver. The OpenBet platform gives us the flexibility to create a first class sports book that fits our brand and our players’ needs.”

"The fact that Sky Betting & Gaming has renewed for an additional five years is a statement of their firm commitment to OpenBet. The deal reflects both the confidence Sky Betting & Gaming have in our ability to support their growth and the outstanding relationship maintained by all of those working on their development team,” said OpenBet CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill.
