Penn National Gaming, Inc. has signed a deal with Bally Gaming, Inc., a subsidiary of Scientific Games Corporation that will enable the Company’s Illinois route operation, Prairie State Gaming, to offer its network of 270 bar and retail gaming establishments across the state the very latest video gaming terminal product in the market today, as well as exclusive new premium game content.

The award winning WMS Blade gaming terminals from Scientific Games support an entire suite of customized premium games and play mechanics. Powering this game library is the new CPU-NXT 3 processor, which facilitates game-changing experiences with unparalleled excitement and stunning detail. The Blade cabinet’s immersive player experiences are intensified by cutting-edge hardware and technology. Two closely placed, high-definition, 23” LCD monitors deliver unparalleled visual impact, while an integrated premium sound system immerses players with brilliant quality and clarity. The Blade cabinet’s every detail, down to the cabinet’s state-of-the-art materials and finishes, has been carefully considered and precisely executed - setting a new standard of excellence for player interface design.

The Blade video gaming cabinets are scheduled to be released to the Illinois VGT market in January 2016. The initial rollout will include eight popular game themes, which will later be expanded with two game titles exclusive to PSG, including “Life of Luxury®,” which is an iconic game brand, and a new version based on “Alice & the Mad Tea Party,” which has been designed to mirror the excitement of one of the best performing VGT games in the state, “Bier Haus.”

“We’re pleased to be able to offer our bar and retail gaming establishments the next generation of one of the industry’s most popular game platforms,” said John Canham, General Manager of Prairie State Gaming. “In addition, having two exclusive premium brand titles will further position PSG as one of Illinois’ top VGT operators.”

Jay Snowden, Chief Operating Officer for Penn National Gaming, added: “This agreement is a great example of how Penn National can leverage its status as the nation’s largest regional gaming operator into a direct benefit for PSG’s bar and retail gaming establishment customers in Illinois. In addition to these next-generation games and exclusive content, Penn National looks forward to continuing to provide our nearly two decades of industry leading experience in operating electronic casino games, marketing and compliance in highly regulated environments.”
