As part of its policy objectives to minimize gambling related harm, the UK Gambling Commission has launched a new consultation.

The idea is to see where category B gaming machines, including fixed odds betting terminals (FOBTs), can be played.

The consultation sets out proposed amendments to the UK’s License Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) that apply to gambling operators licensed by the Commission.

It also sets out proposed amendments to the Commission’s statutory Guidance to licensing authorities (GLA).
