Gala Coral and Sky Betting & Gaming stole the show at the EGR Operator Awards

Representatives from the online egaming industry met at the Honourable Artillery Company, in London, for the eGR Operator Awards. The show was hosted by Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan. To find out who the winners were, read the full post.

With an attendance of 600, the event saw Gala Coral pick up the top award for Operator of the Year. Gala Coral's subsidiary, Gala Bingo, also received two accolades: Bingo Operator and Mobile Bingo Product. Last year's Operator of the Year, William Hill, received two prizes for In-Play Operator and In-House Product for its Priority Acces Card.

The other big winner of the evening was Sky Betting & Gaming. The company picked up four awards: Mobile Operator, Mobile Sports Product, Horse Race Betting Operator and Mobile Poker Product.

Amaya Gaming’s PokerStars received the award for Poker Operator of the Year, for second year in a row. Commenting on the achievement, Eric Hollreiser, Vice President of Corporate Communications for Amaya, said: “Winning the ‘Poker Operator of the Year’ award is a strong endorsement of our poker offering and a testament to the engaged and passionate PokerStars employees who dedicate themselves to delivering a high-quality, safe, and secure online poker experience.”
