Vakhtang Mirumyan, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, is going to become a speaker at Armenian Gaming Forum.

Indeed, Ministry of Finance officials prepared a package of bills (changes to the law “On casinos and games with winnings”) limiting advertising of roulette and other Internet gambling. In other words, authorities aim to make limitations for online and offline venues equal. Offline operators are not allowed to advertise anywhere but in 4 and 5 star hotels, as well as at the borderline entry checkpoints. Government supported the initiative on April 22.

Vakhtang Mirumyan will explain the Ministry’s position towards the abovementioned initiative, answering the questions from the audience.
