Manuel Joaquim das Neves, Director of the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) will retire from his position.

Wendy Wong, a spokeswoman for the bureau, said the regulator has yet to find Das Neves’ replacement.

After 18 years in the role, he has seen the rise of Macau into the world’s largest gambling hub and now the continuing fall of revenues because of the government crackdown on corruption and slowing growth in mainland China.
