Parx Casino announces expansion
Casino officials, in a news release Thursday, said the project is just the first of a multiphase expansion for its property, located at located at 2999 Street Road in Bensalem.
"The jewel of this expansion phase will be Xlounge, an ultramodern luxury lounge featuring superior cocktail and craft beer offerings, a high-end menu, luxury design finishes and additional gaming," the news release states.
With the new additions, the first since the casino's 2009 opening, Parx's gaming floor will expand to a total of 176,592 square feet.
“As one of the nation’s top casinos, we pride ourselves in offering our guests a superior gaming and entertainment experience. It’s always important for us to deliver an exceptional customer experience — and equally important to offer the highest quality gaming and exciting amenities,” Anthony Faranca, Parx's general manager, said in the release.
Future phases of the master expansion plan will continue into 2016, according to the release.
