What was the outcome of the 2015 G2E edition?
Rye Park Gaming had a very successful show this year. We are looking forward to creating relationships with new clients we met at G2E.
What products did you introduce at the trade show?
We were very excited to introduce our patented H-leg Blackjack Base Conversion Kit, which easily converts any casino's existing H leg base to a barrel style closed base without removing the table tops. This is a very low cost alternative to buying all new barrel style table bases.
Rye Park Gaming also introduced a new custom logo Purse Holder that the patrons can carry with them and attach to any padded arm rest of any table game. The casino client can add their logo or a sponsor logo. These purse holders can also be given away as logo merchandise for advertising purposes.
Millennials have been a hot topic for quite some time. Why is attracting and engaging younger audiences more of a challenge for the gambling industry?
This is challenging due to the fact that there are so many options now for entertainment in this field. iGaming, Daily Fantasy Sports betting etc., but I do feel there will always be a need for live table games as nothing can compare to the feeling of live action on the casino floor.
What do you expect to happen after the show?
We have made many new connections at this year's G2E, we are excited to have new distribution partners in areas like Africa and South America.
We have a major merger phenomenon going on in the gaming industry. Are you planning to merge with another company?
Rye Park Gaming has been approached by several competitors this past year and the idea of a merger or acquisition is a possibility in the future. We have created a high quality brand over the past 10 years and we have some exclusive products that set Rye Park Gaming apart from the competition.
