How was your experience at the 2015 G2E? Did you achieve the goals you had set before the trade show?
We were very pleased with how things went at G2E, our entire product range received a lot of attention. Our new product, TEBS (Tamper Evident Bag System), which is available for the North American gaming market, garnered a lot of interest. We were delighted with the warm welcome we received from everyone who attended the show.
You have stated that Innovative Technology's SMART range of products has cemented your position as one of the market leading providers of cash handling. Based on the conversations you held with G2E attendees, where does the future lie for the SMART family?
We are expecting to close deals with customers across the globe, we believe this is due to the modularity of the product and therefore the versatility afforded to each customer. Our SMART range of products are designed to cater for the customer’s specific wishes and requirements. The product can be configured to suit any need whether the customer wants notes, coins or tickets.
How important is the US market in your current business strategy?
We are committed to growing ITL’s presence in the USA and are currently in the process of moving our US staff to brand new premises in Wisconsin. We feel that improving our standing in the USA will also benefit our position in Central and South America and ensure that we can effectively support customers in these regions.
What was the response from attendees to your US operation?
Everyone was very enthusiastic about the whole situation. Since the majority of attendees at G2E were based in the US, it was vital that we could demonstrate our strong presence in that particular part of the world. Our VP of Sales for the Americas, Rebecca White was on hand at the show to chat to potential customers. Rebecca has been a well-known figure in the industry for a number of years so her presence was invaluable.
Where will you be showcasing over the next months?
2016 is going to be a very busy year exhibition wise, starting in London with EAG and ICE. In the meantime, we will be visiting Bulgaria to participate in BEGE 2015 in November. Furthermore, it’s already looking like G2E 2016 will be must-do event for us next year.
