Attracting and engaging millennials is a hot topic right now. What is the gambling industry doing wrong that it cannot engage younger audiences?
Players are seeking to maximize their experience by engaging with interactive content. This year at G2E we presented our Gesture Recognition solution, a technology implemented in slot machines that makes users stay longer in front of the machine. In the field of technology solutions, we have seen different cases that show that innovation still needs time to achieve excellence but we are always in the way to introduce the latest ideas to our customers.
What products did you decide to showcase at the 2015 G2E? What are the most significant opportunities that you are seeing in the US?
We brought leading service windows technology, our module products lines with Intel/AMD and the RISC platform. Customers were able to see Ganlot's latest technology and cutting-edge products with a wide product portfolio.
Although we've been doing industrial mother boards for over 20 years, this is a groundbreaking year for us in the U.S.
Great interest aroused by the introduction of our new products at the 2015 G2E -of course, we are much more famous in Europe because we've been growing our business there for many years. Now we are targeting the US market to another success.
Is Latin America part of your expansion strategy?
Absolutely. We have had a branch office in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for two years. We know that Peru, Chile and Colombia have been showing progress over the years, and we have some projects going on in the Latin American region. Argentina and Colombia are good markets for us.
There seems to be a global phenomenon of mergers and acquisitions going on. Is merger an option for Ganlot?
Resource integration is very important because it makes your business stronger. We will see and make you surprised.
One of the highlights at the 2015 edition of ICE was mobile gaming. What are the main differences between the London trade show and G2E Las Vegas?
This year, G2E was about how big players are trying to promote their games and names based on new licenses, as seen with Game of Thrones and House of Cards slots. That is something you only see in the US, in Europe or Asia you don't have these kind of models. If you take a first glance at the games, they will seem appealing but it's what's inside what matters most.
