BMM Testlabs in North America announced that it has attained ISO/IEC 17065:2012 accreditation.

The ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation is an international standard for ensuring the competence of organizations that perform product certifications. The accreditation ensures that BMM's product certifications are impartial, consistent, and are based on objective testing and analysis.

Travis Foley, EVP Operations - BMM Americas said: "The ISO/IEC 17065:2012 certification provides additional assurance beyond our existing ISO/IEC 17020 and 17025 accreditations to the industry that BMM carries out its work to the highest standard, and that we conform to stringent procedural criteria. This new accreditation confirms BMM's commitment to not only the quality of our work, but to our customers, and Industry Regulators, as we continue to expand our global business over the next few years."

BMM was the first independent testlab to gain ISO quality accreditation in 1995 and is currently preparing for the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 accreditation throughout Europe.
