Aristocrat appoints Matt Wilson Senior Vice President of Global Gaming Operations

Previously, Wilson was the company’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In his new role, Wilson is responsible for the development and execution of Aristocrat’s global recurring revenue strategy in all Class III markets including oversight of North American gaming operations, which is a critical growth engine for the company.

“Matt’s proven leadership and insight have been instrumental in driving Aristocrat’s recent momentum in the North American market. His experience in the sales and marketing functions across the company’s major Class III markets in Australia and New Zealand, Asia Pacific and North America, have given him a deep understanding of our global growth opportunities. This experience uniquely qualifies Matt to spearhead our efforts as we look to build sustainable business models across the globe, in alignment with our Global Class III strategy,” said Aristocrat Chief Commercial Officer Maureen Sweeny.

Wilson joined Aristocrat in 2004 and has held a number of key positions in a variety of markets. Between 2008 and 2012 he oversaw Aristocrat’s rapid expansion in the Asia Pacific region as the head of the Sales team. In 2012 he was promoted to Vice President of Marketing for the Americas and, in August 2014, was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for all of North America. This appointment is subject to the receipt of any necessary regulatory approvals.
