The American Gaming Association added six new members, including the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, to group's board of directors.

The Washington, D.C.-based trade organization also added representatives from the MotorCity Casino and Hotel in Detroit and Rush Street Gaming to the board. Uniform provider Cintas, Hewlett-Packard and VSR Industries joined the AGA as general members.

AGA CEO Geoff Freeman said the organization shifted its membership and governance structure a year ago to allow inclusion from tribal gaming operators, casino suppliers and allied members.

The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority operates the Mohegan Sun in Southeastern Connecticut and the Mohegan Sun Pocono, and manages the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. Rush Street Gaming manages or owns gaming properties in Illinois, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
