G2E Las Vegas announces robust lineup of presentations

·         Women in Gaming: State of the Industry

The formation of Global Gaming Women in 2012 was an important moment in the advancement of women in the casino industry. With hundreds of women who are now members, the effort to provide equal opportunity to women in the casino gaming industry is greatly supported by companies large and small. This session will highlight women leaders who have smashed through the glass ceiling.

Tuesday, Sept. 29
·         Keynote Presentation by Jeffrey Ma & State of Gaming Address with Geoff Freeman
9 a.m. in Titian 2301
AGA president and CEO Geoff Freeman will share how far the industry has come in terms of economic impact, mainstream acceptance and consumer perception. Following Freeman’s presentation, the founder of the famous MIT blackjack team, Jeffrey Ma, will seamlessly connect his experiences at the blackjack table to business analytics, innovation and the power of data. This presentation will be directly followed by the official G2E 2015 ribbon cutting in Hall A

·         State of the Industry Press Conference

Hear from American Gaming Association (AGA) president and CEO Geoff Freeman and chief operating officer Ron Rosenbaum on the hot topics and pressing issues affecting the casino gaming industry in a presentation reserved only for attending media.

Wednesday, Sept. 30

·         AGA CEO Roundtable

Casino gaming industry titans will assemble for a roundtable to shed light on the future of the casino gaming industry. In one of his first public forums as Caesars Entertainment president and CEO, Mark Frissora will be joined by Scientific Games CEO Gavin Issacs, Rush Street Gaming CEO Greg Carlin and AGA president and CEO Geoff Freeman to debate the most pertinent issues of the industry.

·         Casino Entertainment Awards
6 p.m. at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Casino & Hotel
Presented by G2E and the American Gaming Association (AGA), the Casino Entertainment Awards are the only awards exclusively honoring outstanding artists, executives and venues in the casino entertainment industry. The Casino Entertainment Legend Awards recognize lifetime achievement in the casino entertainment industry. This year, Comedic legend Jerry Lewis will be presented the Casino Entertainment Legend award by “Mr. Las Vegas” Wayne Newton at the Global Gaming Expo’s (G2E) third annual Casino Entertainment Awards on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 inside Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Thursday, Oct. 1

·         Keynote Presentation by Rahul Sood

Rahul Sood, a pioneer in the convergence of betting and eSports, will deliver the final keynote speech. As the co-founder and CEO of Unikrn, Sood will address attendees about how to successfully unite business, technology and design. Unikrn is an online betting platform that allows individuals to wager on the results of popular videogames. Thanks to Sood’s business experience, the company has raised approximately $10 million in funding.
