The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold today its 164th open public meeting.

The Commission will begin the meeting with a general update and a discussion about MGC’s Plainridge Park Casino After Action Project.

MGM Springfield is then scheduled to present a quarterly report. In addition, MGM Springfield representatives will provide updated information about project design.

Lastly, the Commission will discuss the recent request for public comment regarding Region C applicant Mass Gaming & Entertainment.

Plainridge Park Casino, the state’s first casino, raked in USD 6.1M in gambling revenue in its first week of operation, enough for the casino’s owners to declare themselves “pleased” with the results and for one industry specialist to call it “a great start.”
