Affinity Gaming, a Las Vegas-based casino company with properties in Nevada, Colorado and the Midwest, has elected David Reganato as board chairman.

David Reganato has replaced Richard Parisi at the helm of Affinity’s board of directors, effective immediately, the company said in a statement.

Reganato and Parisi are both senior investment analysts for the investment advisor Silver Point Capital LP, which owns 25.1 percent of Affinity stock.

The company did not specify why Parisi was replaced. He had been chairman of Affinity’s board since July 2013.

Reganato joined Silver Point in 2002 after working in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley, Affinity said. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from New York University and sits on the boards of Granite Broadcasting Corp., Studio City International Holdings Ltd. and Rotech Healthcare Inc.

Affinity controls four casinos in Southern Nevada: the Silver Sevens east of the Strip and the three casinos in Primm at the California border. The company also runs the Rail City casino in Sparks.
