Game ON is an industry-wide program of events and initiatives, backed by the Ukrainian government, which will open with a two-day Conference bringing together top officials and international gambling industry. Presentations and discussions will focus on how Ukraine can have a rejuvenated gaming industry that is transparent and fair to all involved, while providing a sizeable contribution towards the country’s economy.
Game ON will, importantly, set out a roadmap for how the new legislation regulating the industry can be written to meet high international standards. The Conference will be attended by prominent government officials and lawmakers who will listen to the combined voice of the gambling community.
Sergey Portnov, Parimatch CEO noted: "Sports betting can be easily compared with other branches of economy – oil and gas, machine building, metallurgical engineering – a necessary area for the country’s economy requiring legislation. A solid legal framework will positively affect labor market, increase tourism and help country’s economy flourish. That’s why there is an urgent need for conferences such as Game ON. This is an excellent platform for open dialogue with the government and other stakeholders on the subject of gambling regulation."
Game ON Conference, which will bring together key international figures and captains of the industry, will cover all spheres of gambling, including casino operation, sports betting and racing, online gambling, and a new approach to the National Lottery.
Glyn Thomas, co-owner of ACE Publishing Ltd., organizer of Game ON, commented: “The Conference is a unique event which will bring together local expertise and best international practices. Such unprecedented exchange of ideas is an essential first step on the road to bringing gambling back to Ukraine, in a way that will be beneficial to all involved. All attending the event will bring to the table their invaluable knowledge and experiences. Through their support of the Conference companies like Parimatch are helping to shape the future of gambling in Ukraine.”
