“We expect that this year’s G2E edition will open up new doors for DLV”

DLV is one of the numerous companies that will be showcasing its portfolio of games at the forthcoming G2E Las Vegas. The firm will exhibit its new 3-level Lab Creatures jackpot based on DLV’s developed Ultra interface. Julia Barbakadze discussed the trade show: "We’ve never been left disappointed with G2E," she stated.

What are your expectations for this G2E edition?

The most bold ones. We’ve never been left disappointed with G2E show and always come back home after it both with new orders, and new ideas for DLV’s own venues. We expect that this year’s edition will be as fruitful and will open up new doors for us.

DLV will showcase its popular Diamond Quattro at the trade show. What feedback do you expect to receive?

DLV approaches the creation of every product with great accuracy and attention, investing much time and efforts, creativity and practical knowledge, so, naturally, we always expect the result to be accepted positively and to be duly appreciated.

What other products are you planning to introduce?

This will be, first of all, company’s absolutely new 3-level Lab Creatures jackpot based on DLV’s developed Ultra interface. Further, there will be two more new products – ergonomic, stylish and luxury machine Diamond Excel with two 27” screens and 25-games Diamond Ultra 3 multigame. There will also be some earlier company’s products which already caught fancy of players in many countries of the world.

BetConstruct signed an agreement with DLV to offer for the first time ever a sports book alongside their suite of gaming and slots products. How did you benefit from this deal?

The benefits are, no doubt, remarkable, as our clients now can use our services online – dlvbet is an easy and comfortable to use online betting site which already successfully works 24/7 in Latvia. The following step is to transfer DLV’s slot products into online format which is sure to expand our target audience.

Could you brief us aboout your plans for the future? Is Latin America part of your expansion strategy? 

Latin American region has been an important business target for us for many years already and it still is – DLV is continuing its growth in Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Paraguay and other countries where it has already attained to remarkable results.

We also occupy a strong position in Asia, the list of venues in Philippines and Cambodia is now complemented with those of Singapore where DLV recently installed its first machines. Of course, Europe is still there, being DLV’s home market; these are Moldova, Ireland, Northern Cyprus and other countries, as well as company’s major market – Latvia where DLV is currently completely renovating its venues and implementing a management system.

How do you improve the quality of DLV’s products and services?

This process never ends for us: we never stop evaluating and analyzing the performance of our products in DLV’s own venues in Latvia and in the venues of our clients all over the world, summarizing up and taking into account considerations and wishes of the managers and operators who deal with our products. Our clients know that they can always turn to us for an advice or request to make modifications and we are always ready to help them, adhering to the principle that the successful performance of DLV’s products whenever they are installed is of top priority to us.

How do you see the gaming industry being transformed?

It seems that the industry is in a state a bit worse than desired. Currently the market is more or less stable with no considerable changes; definitely, some rates have decreased owing to global economy issues. The most active development is observed in the online sector and we think that this trend is here to stay, at least for the nearest future.
