What new games are you planning to debut at the upcoming G2E Las Vegas?
At G2E, IGT will feature nearly 400 gaming products that demonstrate the breadth and depth of the new Company’s portfolio. One game that truly represents the strength of the new IGT is Wheel of Fortune Double Diamond 3D, where we’re combining the most popular slot theme of all time with TRUE 3D, one of the gaming industry’s most celebrated new technologies. Licensed content continues to play an integral role in our portfolio strategy and we are introducing several games based on top-tier entertainment brands including TMZ, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and Breaking Bad. You can expect even more great new additions to our Premium portfolio, with new Core portfolio and video poker games as well.
What are your expectations for this year's edition of what is one of the most important trade shows in the industry?
Our expectations are to help our customers increase their profitability while introducing exciting new experiences to players. Our portfolio of games, systems and solutions has never been stronger. G2E provides us the biggest stage in North America to demonstrate our product strategy in action, and it’s an important show for us because it’s where many new games are unveiled for the first time before they’re seen in other parts of the world.
IGT already is a recognized worldwide leader in the gambling world. What's next for the combined company?
We have created the world’s leading end-to-end gaming company. In the coming months we will continue to innovate in meaningful ways, building upon the feedback that is based upon our Customer First focus of active engagement with our customers. The legacy organizations’ games are highly complementary, and we now have the benefit of the combined game studios collaborating to develop what really amounts to the best of both worlds. As we continue to integrate, we will enhance our customer offerings. For example, we are packaging top titles from both legacy organizations into multi-game offerings for international markets. Additionally, we are bringing the legacy GTECH studios up to speed on the Ascent development platform so that we can incorporate their rich library and studio talent into the content roadmap for our new CrystalDual cabinet and other video products.
At this year's edition of ICE, mobile gambling was one of the most discussed trends amongst exhibitors and attendees. Do you think the same will happen at G2E Las Vegas?
Given the more established interactive market in the UK, ICE involves more discussion of interactive in general. However, we see increasing interest in many IGT Interactive solutions here in the U.S. which we can expect to extend into G2E. For example, we have experienced substantial interest in our OnPremise solution that gives players the option to place wagers via a preferred mobile device while gaming within the boundaries of the casino. There is no other product like it in the field, and its technology has the potential to truly transform the land-based casino experience. Cross-platform content deployment, whether for social or real money gaming, continues to be a very relevant topic in North America and an area where IGT is really leading the way.

We leverage the industry’s leading R&D investment to increase the value propositions for our customers with continued innovation and market-attuned solutions. For example, we are building on the success of the S3000 cabinet by increasing its capabilities with Spin-Ferno, a turnkey tournament solution that is fueled by Tournament Manager 5.0. With Spin-Ferno, players can experience a favorite three or five-reel game in single or multi-site slot tournaments on the S3000 cabinet. This kind of advancement puts the player at the center of our design strategy and I think that is reflected in the many products that we bring to market. Further, we leverage our size and scope to our customers’ advantage by providing localized support, backing our best-in-class product portfolio with equally outstanding service.
