Chinese Government to convey vision at MGS 2015

The Chinese Government has huge aspirations for infrastructure developments in Macau and the entire Asia Pacific region and OBOR could be significant over the next several years.

The focal point will be tourism and culture and the market will be drawn from the vast source of Chinese visitors. The Summit will be a focal point to discuss the ways in which the gaming, entertainment and the broader business community can maximise growth and trading exchanges through the long-term project.

Attendees will be able to hear firsthand what role the gaming industry can play in the evolving economic mix for Macau and the Asia Pacific region over the next decade. Representatives from the People’s Republic of China Government and the Macau SAR Government will be attending the Summit with Gaming Topics to detail their vision and help highlight the opportunities for growth and development.

Government officials from mainland China and Macau will convene on the first day of the three day international Summit to explore the challenging issue of how gaming will help power a new entertainment mix of tourism and culture in a more diversified economy. Key industry figures will join the platform for the Asia-centric morning sessions.

The city is looking at the next stage of its evolution, building and developing into a major tourism and cultural hub. Gaming must play its crucial role in this.
