The Oneida Indian Nation will add table games by year’s end to its Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango.

The Nation announced Tuesday that live blackjack, craps and other Las Vegas style table games will be added to the new $20 million gaming venue.

“Part of what has made all of the Oneida Nation’s enterprises so successful is that we listen closely to feedback from our guests,” said Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter.

“From day one our guests have been asking for these table games at Yellow Brick Road,” he said. “We heard them loud and clear.”

The table games will replace the bingo hall, the Nation said.

Bingo will continue through August 31, when the “Wizard Hall” will close for renovations. The table game area is expected to open by the end of the year.

The Nation expects the table games will create at least 30 new positions at Yellow Brick Road Casino.

Central New Yorkers interested in training to be among the first dealers at Yellow Brick Road Casino can apply online at www.YBRCasino.com for Dealer School. There is a charge for tuition.

“Table games will take Yellow Brick Road to an entirely new level, and we know that our players will greatly enjoy this next phase for Yellow Brick Road Casino,” Halbritter said.
