The deal widens Mondogoal’s brand exposure and adds UK football to Yahoo’s mix of fantasy sport choices, with the British market the primary focus, an area where Mondogoal’s collaborative deals with UK clubs like Liverpool, West Ham United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs add considerable value.
The agreement with Yahoo includes revenue sharing arrangements, details of which have not been disclosed.
Another important advantage that Mondogoal brings to the Yahoo table is its UK licensing – a head start on new UK daily fantasy sport competitors like DraftKings, which has yet to be granted approval.
