American Gaming Association (AGA) President and CEO Geoff Freeman will hold a press conference call on Monday, June 1 at 1:00pm EDT/10:00am PDT to mark the 20th anniversary of the AGA and discuss the significant changes in gaming between now and then.

Motivated by President Clinton’s proposal to impose a federal tax on gaming, gaming industry leaders formed the AGA, which officially opened for business on June 1, 1995.

Freeman will also provide updates on key gaming issues, such as the IRS proposal to lower the gaming winnings threshold to $600, developments in Japan, and the AGA’s upcoming event in Iowa to engage in the presidential campaign.
